Welcome to our new website. We are delighted that we have been able to work with Pharma Mix to update and re-invigorate our site. Thank you to all at Pharma Mix and to Keiren and our entire team for making this site look so good and for updating the content. Thank you also to Tony Pagliuca and all our committee for their commitment to making this project so successful. We hope this will allow the BSBMT to become more interactive with all our partners and we are very interested in feedback on the site, ideas for content and for improvements. We hope that this makeover is only the beginning and that we can now update and refresh our site on a regular basis.

The British Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation is an organisation for those with a professional interest in haematopoietic cell transplantation. The President and the Executive Committee are responsible for the running of this organisation which has a written constitution and twice yearly annual meetings. The BSBMT maintains a registry of all transplants performed in the UK each year.

The Clinical Trials Committee performs prospective and retrospective studies that aim to enhance the field of transplantation. The recently developed Scientific Sub Committee aims to enhance transplant science in the UK. The BSBMT also maintains responsibility for accreditation of units throughout the UK by links to JACIE.
